Terms & ConditionsPrivacy PolicyCookies Policy

Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are

ZihnKids provides a digital learning product for children ages 4–8: instructional videos and printable focus and coordination activities. These Terms govern your access to https://zihn-kids.vercel.app/en and any purchase of our course.

Questions: info@zihnkids.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your place of residence) to create an account and purchase. The course is designed for children, but purchases and accounts are for parents or legal guardians only.

3. Accounts

At checkout you create an account with your full name, email address, and a password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Purchases and payment

Access to the course is sold as a one-time payment (currently listed at $7.99 USD unless otherwise stated on the checkout page). Prices may change; the price shown at checkout at the time of purchase applies.

We accept payment through our website. Card and other payment details are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card number on our servers. By completing a purchase, you authorize us (and our payment provider) to charge the amount due.

5. License to use the course

When your purchase is complete, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course content for your household’s private, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share, scrape, or copy the videos, printables, or other materials except for normal personal printing and playback for your child.

6. Refunds

We offer a 7-day satisfaction promise. If the course is not a fit, email info@zihnkids.com within 7 days of purchase and we will make it right, which may include a refund where appropriate. Refunds, if issued, are returned to the original payment method subject to our payment provider’s timelines.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the site or attempt to disrupt its security or availability;
  • share account access beyond your household in a way that circumvents purchase;
  • upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
  • use automated means to scrape or harvest content without our permission.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

8. Intellectual property

All site content, branding, videos, printables, and related materials are owned by ZihnKids or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except the limited license in section 5.

9. Disclaimers

The course provides educational activities and general guidance. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and it does not replace professional care. Results vary by child. The site and course are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZihnKids and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or course. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above will change when we do. Continued use of the site or course after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact info@zihnkids.com.

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ZihnKids collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit our website or purchase our course. We are committed to handling your information carefully and transparently.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact data — full name and email address, collected on the checkout page when you create an account or purchase.
  • Account credentials — a password you choose (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your plain-text password).
  • Marketing preference — whether you opt in to receive occasional tips and product updates by email (optional checkbox at checkout).
  • Payment data — when you pay on our website, payment details (such as card number, expiry, and CVC) are collected and processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment status and limited transaction details; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • Technical data — information such as browser type, device, approximate location derived from IP address, and pages visited, collected automatically to operate and secure the site (see also our Cookies Policy).

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • create and manage your account;
  • process purchases and provide course access;
  • send transactional emails (order confirmation, account, support);
  • send marketing emails if you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in those emails or by contacting us;
  • improve, secure, and troubleshoot our website and services;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

If you are in a jurisdiction that requires a legal basis (such as the EEA/UK), we typically rely on: performance of a contract (providing your purchase and account), consent (marketing emails), and legitimate interests (site security, product improvement), balanced against your rights.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the business — for example authentication and database hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and content delivery;
  • Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Providers act on our instructions and are expected to protect your information appropriately.

6. Retention

We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. You may request deletion of your account data subject to legal retention needs.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw marketing consent. To exercise these rights, email info@zihnkids.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

8. Children’s privacy

Our website and checkout are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The course is used by parents/guardians with their children. If you believe we have collected a child’s personal data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password for your account.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are posted.

Cookies Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage) may be used for the same purposes. This policy explains how ZihnKids uses them.

2. Cookies we use

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work:

  • Language preference — a cookie (for example NEXT_LOCALE) remembers the language you choose so we can show the site in English, Arabic, or French.
  • Authentication / session — when you sign in, cookies from our authentication provider keep you logged in securely and protect your account session.

These cookies are essential or functionally necessary. Without them, language preference and account access would not work reliably.

3. Analytics and advertising

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site (such as login or language selection) from working correctly.
